Shot with: Canon EOS-1D, EF 70-200mm.
Shutter Speed: shot at 1/640
The effect of shooting at this speed is capturing something that is moving fast and being able to capture the image
Aperture: f/2.8L
The effect at shooting at this aperture is to capture things that are in lots of light and whatever the camera is not focused on will be kinda blurry.
I think that the person has to be somewhere close or somewhere on the sideline to be able to capture this photo.

Avoiding Mergers

This Photo shows Avoiding Mergers because the merger lines of the people are not visable and make everyone look like one even though they are not.

Simplicity

This photo shows simplicity because there isn't much to this picture but the emotion on the mans face shows much more as if there was more in the picture(This photo also shows filling the frame).

Rule of Thirds

This photo shows Rule of Thirds because it separates the picture into three frames which the man is in one the second if vacant and the third is composed of the buildings.

Balance

This photo shows balance because the two horses are equally pointing in opposite directions and look the same.

Framing

This Photo shows framing because the hole in the building acts as a border for the focus of the picture which is the ruins of the building.

Lines

This Photo represents leading lines because the two lines of people lead you to the man standing alone and there color (white and black) is what originally attract you to them.

After Printing

When the negatives were done i picked the picture i wanted to print. once in the dark room i but the negatives on the negative enlarger and started to focus the image. then i set the aperture to a small setting so not much light got through than made a test strip. after i found the proper time to set the timer for i got a blank sheet of photo paper then started the timer. after the light was exposed to the photo paper i put it through the developing process and wash.
