I think in the situation with the dove model is unethical because when you are selling stuff that are meant to enhance looks our models at all for that matter it gives off false outcomes and looks that some cannot get. Its worse when your are saying that that's how they naturally look because it is not and that is a total lie. its OK when you fix a photo or spots but only if they are suddle if you change something major that that's when it gets things mess up.
I think that the situation is somewhere in the middle because there needs to be some absolute rules like you cannot make up stuff add things into the photo that were never even there but also situational like when to edit and crop a photo. i also think that photos can tell the truth when the photo is unaltered but there are so many fake photos out there and the technology to make fake photos that you never know which is true and which is fake.
